D.Ed. / B.Ed. courses are related to teaching related jobs. Though there are certain differences in both the jobs. B. Ed. Is bachelor’s degree in education and can be pursued by students after completion of their graduation whereas D. Ed. is diploma in education which can be pursued by a student who has passed XII from a recognized board or university. To avail a B. Ed. course along with the graduation certificate, you need to score 55% or more in the qualifying exams.

Hence, D.Ed./B.Ed jobs though are related, these too have many differences.

Ed. Jobs for Grade 3 government teacher post, the age limit is in between 18 to 28 years of age. For both D.Ed./B.Ed jobs age relaxation is there for certain reservation category. There are no age limit criteria for in-service teachers with 2 years of full-time teaching practice on provisional/permanent base in a primary secondary/higher/senior secondary school acknowledged by State Government or Central or a Union Territory in case D.Ed./B.Ed jobs.

For D.Ed./B.Ed jobs, the salary package differs for different posts that you apply. Also difference in salary will be seen with the years of experience in case of D.Ed./B.Ed jobs. However, in government schools on permanent basis, 25000-30000 INR is offered depending upon the post and on ad hoc basis salary offered is in between 15000-20000 INR. Though it may differ depending upon your years of experience and many other criteria. In private sector much variation in salary is seen depending upon the school and the place where you work along with the years of experience in your job in case of various D.Ed./B.Ed jobs.
